Pastor Dan Sue

 

 

Pastor Dan was saved in February 1959 in Amarillo, Texas at the First Pentecostal Church of God pastored by his uncle, the late Rev. Hervery Garringer.  Although Daniel was just in second grade he recognize that he had received the Lord Jesus as his savior and Lord. By the time he was 12 years old, he was already preaching in several churches that had invited him to minister the Word of God.  He knew as a boy that some day the Lord would open the opportunity for him to pastor as God had called him into the ministry. In the mean time he continued in the "help ministries" in the local churches where he lived; learning all he could about the ministry of the church,  at Anchor of Hope Tabernacle in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Daniel continued to study God's word and he was known as the "right-hand man" for Dr. Dale Mercer who was pastor of Anchor of Hope over 40 years.

He  received his high school education in Tulsa, Oklahoma at McLain Senior High and Amarillo, Texas.  His first degree he received in college was at Northeastern A&M College in Miami, Oklahoma where he was award an Associates in Theatre Arts. He continued his education and at Northeastern State University  in Tahlequah, where he earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Education. Later he earned a Master of Education.

Although he has always been bi-vocational (he has taught in the public school over twenty years) he continued to study the Word of God and pastored local churches. He holds a Bachelors degree in Theology and a Masters in Theology and in June of 2006 he received  his Doctorates of Divinity in Augusta, Georgia.

He has built churches in Oklahoma, Kentucky, West Virginia, Georgia, and Texas. He has a pastors heart and enjoys the ministry that the Lord has entrusted him with.

He and his wife Edna have been married thirty years and they have two grown children and two grandchildren.  Edna graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa.
