Our Mission

We are growing families in God's love, through prayer, fellowship and relationships, training in God's Word, and reaching out to the town of Kemp, then the county of Kaufman and the world. Reaching, Preaching, and Teaching God's Uncompromising Word.

Living Word Church Profile

Living Word Church is an Inter-denominational, Spirit-filled, Family Church established to lift up Jesus Christ as Lord, founded on the authority of God's Word and committed to honor the work and the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Matthew 28:19-20

We started our church five years ago in our Pastor's home. As we continued to grow we met in different member's homes then we moved into a community center. As we continued to grow we rented a building in Kaufman, TX. But before long we grew again and we moved the church to Kemp where we bought the old 1st Baptist church building on the corner of 12th Street and Adams.
